Description
Cornslaw Industries is a netlabel currently based in Toledo, Ohio, USA and founded in Philadelphia, PA in 2004. They claim to "live and die by their motto: 'puttin' stuff on the web that wasn't there before.'" They are rumored to have battled three much larger and scarier multi-national conglomerates for its power; winning triumphantly and with much celebration.
Cornslaw releases mostly lo-fi/mid-fi rock-type stuff, especially stuff that makes use of 20-year-old cutting-edge technology. They like guitars, drums, drum machines, basses of all types, keyboards (especially casio keyboards and wall organs), four/eight tracks, bedroom recordings, effects on vocals, weird songs, and recordings with the mistakes left in.
