• chat011 - As Criança Feia - As Criança Feia manifested themselves from 8:47 to 10:54 am during the morning of 03/02/2003, and were perceived and translated by M. Hausen (synth), C. Monjope (synth, e-perc.,e-bass) and Fst (computer, sampling keyboard), with special guest appearance by Juanito De Denny (mouth). Beautiful music from ugly children who only lived for two hours. Produced by Annexus Can.

• chat010- Muwei - Vesica Peixe - Muwei deals with relationships between textures, timbres, colours and moods from different sound sources, the main concern being the sound itself, despite whichever means or theories may be employed for that. Vesica Peixe presents two live recordings based on tight structures and unpredictability, the first recorded at Forum Studio, the second at Plano B record shop. Featuring Felipe Zenicola (bass / tapes), André Neme (sax / tapes), Daniel Amaral (guitar / tapes) and Nicolau Lafetá (trumpet). Produced by Muwei.

• chat009 - Liz - Horas Inolvidables - It is know that there are some places one can only reach by the use of some specific keys. This is a story in 3 acts, 3 different visits to one of these ever-shifting places, each with it's own discoveries and perceptions, from childlike amusement to hazy mindstates to perfect fulfilment, as told through samples taken from Luis Bunuel and François Truffaut films. Produced by Liz with a little help from kkfs.

• chat008 - Straiph - Rid me of Rigor Mortis - Drawing from his continual experiences of working with scientists in the field of biomedical life Sciences at a Scottish biological research centre,Straiph explores the tension between art and science, utilizing raw vocal material accumulated entirely of Scientists talking freely about their chosen expertise of interest, manipulated and overlayed to a state where the logic of the spoken content is not really the subject anymore. Produced and recorded and etc by Straiph.

• chat007 - Botanicos - Melting free kraut inspired by some particular plants. Botanicos is a floating improvisational project of Fabio Oliveira, aka Frithlang. On this recording it consisted of Thelmo Cristovam (Hrönir, Combo Recife de Improviso, etc) - sax, flute, trumpet; C. Monjope (Mongha, Demilus & Duloren, etc) - electronic and acoustic percussion; Filipe Girakob (Tonguemische Quinteto, aFraternalFauna, etc)- knobs, guitar, effects, bowed guitar; Mmendes (Deltree, Bedoze, etc)-Laptop, effects; Annexus Can (CDG, Junkers, fst, etc) - bass guitar, bowed bass; Frithlang (CDG, Fronha Coletiva, etc) - guitar, percussion, turntable. Recorded live at Frithlang studio. Produced by Fabio Oliveira and F S Torres.

• chat005 - Thelmo Cristovam + Fernando S Torres - Realtime composition recorded at kkfs home studio jan. 13, 2005. Thelmo Cristovam plays C-melody sax, trumpet, flute, plastic tube with reeds and an air duster, picked up by a microphone and 3 custom built piezo ceramics. These are then sent to Fernando S torres, who controls a mixing console and two passive (non-manipulated) digital processors, all feeding each others and hence generating feedback.A beautiful and extremely dense work. Headphones please. This album is dedicated to the memory of Jerônimo Lino Silva, Thelmo's father.

• chat 004 - FST - 30,30 - Structured improvisations recorded live direct-to-cassete by FSTorres at home sometime early 90's using a cheap sampler, 2 tape decks and a turntable. Track four features a pre-edited tape taken frm CDG archives. Minimal, post-kraut,industrial and completely lo-fi. No post editing or processing were applied, this the pure original recording.

• chat003 - Staplerfahrer - Cadure - This album is a result of the Cadmium Dunkel Reconstruct II project by Tibprod (www.tibprod.com). Tracks one and two were released on the compilation, the others were just too good to stay homeless. Subtle tone colours, sudden intrusions and mind-bending pseudo-repetitions, complex textures and melting rythms, a wonderful uneasy-listening work.

• chat002 - Liz - Caterina Flavor - A mysterious tale of love and lust soundtracked by and partially dedicated to caterina Valente (from whom most of the samples were stolen). As any Liz album, this is a detailed and delicate movie for the ears and mind, telling a whole story, wich can be fully apreciated when listened to in its entirety and through headphones.Produced by Liz with a little help from kkfs.
