WeirdAndWired is an autobahn of mind, which leads as unstraight as possible to..........well, hopefully a different place.
It was started in the first days of 2007 by Massju and Wolfseule, who can both claim to set the standards very high, when it comes to weirdness. They are the core of this greatest Netlabel-to-be, more or less. They decide, who will get the enourmous privilege of joining the WeirdAndWired-Family. Just kidding. Do not be afraid. They are soft-hearted and vain. They like everyone, who likes them. Well, nevermind. If you feel the need to kick their asses, just write to: matthias at matthias-heiderich dot de.

Wolfseule says: „Unverdauliche Skizzen“ (which means: „indigestible sketches“) is a rubberball, jumping up and down in a hexagon of nothingness, sometimes bouncing against the walls (Bong!), sometimes teetering in space (Sssshhhhh....), sometimes falling unstoppable into lit darkness (Phhhhhhhhh....)

'Mer (Phobia)' is about fear, the frightening feeling of being alone in a dark place, about anxieties we share and the hatred that imbues our minds. Phobia is an engine that creates power, a dark power deep inside our subconsicousnesses waiting to be released. Hatred is the consequence of fear and destruction the result of hatred. 'Mer (Phobia)' is about destruction, 'Mer (Phobia)' is about fear.
The Track 'Mer (Phobia)' is part of 'Industree' by Massju, first published by our friends of the US netlabel 'Electro-Space'. The Mer (Phobia) Remixes feature interpretations of innovative electronic-music producers with different stylistic backgrounds:
Toxonic, Jens Robot of Illphabetik Records, Taktalsmittel's Org, Flextronic, Hirnsalbe, Weirdandwired's Wolfseule, Mouse Motion Listener, Massju and Electro-Space artist Tlahlok.

Mithra is our first accompanist on our journey to the top of the netaudio-universe ;) and it seems he knows what WaW is all about!
His record is like a nice troll, jumping around you, wants to make you dance, and sometimes, he tries to look evil, pushes you around a bit, until you lie on the floor and can't help but laugh. Because you know, that this troll is good-natured, just having fun with you, so you get up and follow him, leaving the hills of stubborn coolness behind.

Sophistication sampled to a decent sexiness: that’s the french – or, more specifically: the Bazaar- way of being modern without being modernistic. Within a layer of carefully constructed atmosphere you'll find teasingly hypnotic beats. Sometimes they are hidden, sometimes they'll jump right into your face and stick to your ears. There is an edgy smoothness about this album, or a smooth edginess, which makes it the perfect soundtrack to any kind of seduction. It’s like champagne: works with anything but it's a pity to opt for it ONLY on special occasions...

This is an army of dark, dry Drum'n'Bass -Beats, marching up your nerves, to celebrate their glory on the beaten battlefield of your brain.
